Nominet IPS tag
Presence Group Ltd is a Nominet self-managed tag-holder. We hold our own IPS tag, PRESENCEGROUP, under which sit the .uk and .co.uk domains we operate. Domain transfers to a different registrar complete by tag change in the standard Nominet process. For abuse reports, see our abuse page; for complaints, our complaints procedure.
Every .uk domain we hold is registered under Nominet’s Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration, published at nominet.uk/go/terms. Those terms apply to all .uk and .co.uk domains regardless of tag-holder.
Key Terms (Nominet agreement)
The Nominet Registry-Registrar Agreement requires every tag-holder to publish how the “Key Terms” (charges, expiry handling, renewal, expiry notice) apply to its customers. As a Self-Managed Tag-holder registering only its own domains, we have no third-party customers. Our position is set out in full at terms.html#key-terms.
Service levels
The customer service standards we operate, in line with the Nominet Registry-Registrar Agreement:
- General enquiries: acknowledged within two working days.
- Complaints: acknowledged within two working days; substantive response within ten working days.
- Abuse reports: acknowledged within one working day and acted on promptly when well-founded.
- Email is monitored Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 UK time.
Connections to other registrars
Presence Group Ltd does not have any contractual, corporate or ownership connection with any other Nominet tag-holder. We do not act as a reseller for, and do not accept resold registrations from, any third party.
